D. D. West's fiction has appeared in Grain, The Nashwaak Review and The New Quarterly, where two of his stories tied for second in the 2014 Peter Hinchcliffe fiction contest. His first book, Army Brat, made the Writers’ Trust of Canada recommended reading list for summer 2017. Going Into It, his second book, is now available in Spring 2020. He lives and works in Toronto.
